Course Intro · Script · v8 — record LAST (B-roll video)

00 · Welcome to GTM Autonomy

~3.5 min · three-breath credential · talking head only; B-roll carries the proof

Spec, sourcing & version notes

v8 (2026-09-19) — first pipeline version (v1–v7 were pre-pipeline; v7's locked shape kept: three-breath credential, authority-first, "That's the resume. Let's talk about you." pivot). Voice per VOICE-PROFILE; opener per the paid-course standard; CTA evergreen per PRODUCTION-STANDARD (no cohort/date mentions in-course).

Runtime: ~3.5 min · The most B-roll-heavy video in the course — record talking head now; visuals land in the edit from production/HASSAN-MEDIA-PULL-BRIEF.md.

Sourced from: COURSE-WORKDOC §3 (6-beat spine) · brain/12 (credential inventory + sourcing rules; "multiple offers" phrasing not needed here; coaching claim first-person) · brain/09 (positioning ¶, promise, banned words) · brain/02 (gap language, verbatim energy) · decisions-log (v6 conversational, v7 crisp, freelancer-exclusion language removed from course-facing copy) · SARMAD-INTAKE G1/G12 · production/VOICE-PROFILE.md.

OPEN — FACE, 0:00–0:40

(orient → the gap, in their words) Okay — welcome to GTM Autonomy. This is a quick one: what this course actually is, who I am, and how to get the most out of it.

Here's the reality this whole thing is built on. Your company pays thirty to a hundred thousand dollars a year for Clay. Somebody on the team is burning credits "testing." The vendor who built your tables? Gone — and nobody can touch what they left behind. And every small ask takes a week to come back. If any of that stung a little — you're in exactly the right place.

THE CLAIM — FACE, 0:40–1:10

I'll tell you what I believe, plainly. Clay is the HubSpot moment of the GTM stack. And you remember how that played out — the companies that actually learned HubSpot in-house, instead of renting it out forever, won the whole decade. Same thing is happening right now with Clay. So the promise of this course is simple: you walk in as a team that has Clay. You walk out as a team that runs it — governed budgets, audited tables, maintained automations — with scored work to prove it.

CREDENTIAL — FACE, three breaths, 1:10–1:45

(visuals carry the proof — see shot list) Now — why listen to me? Three things. Right now I'm a GTM engineer at LeanScale — it's a revenue-operations consultancy in the US — and my day job is building GTM systems for revenue teams all the way from Series A startups to unicorns, ten-million to hundred-million-dollar companies, on their real Salesforce and HubSpot instances. Everything in this course comes from those production systems — not from demo toys. Second: I was the first Clay coach — and the GTM engineer I coached won Clay's first-ever World Cup. And third: I built one of the biggest GTM engineering communities in the world — five hundred plus engineers — and I've personally trained more than three hundred people, one-on-one, on exactly this material.

That's the resume. Let's talk about you.

HOW IT WORKS — FACE, 1:45–2:45

This course is two layers. The Strategy Track — seven short videos, no table-building — that's the judgment layer: the economics, the governance, how to audit anyone's work, how to never get burned. And the Build Track — every Clay feature, one at a time, and then real end-to-end builds: inbound, signals, outbound, the whole engine.

Every single video ends in an exercise. And here's the part no other course does: your work gets scored. You submit the actual table you built, and it gets graded against the same rubric I use to audit real workspaces — and yes, overspending fails the exercise, just like real life. You don't advance until you pass, and you can resubmit as many times as you need. Which means when you finish, you don't walk away with a certificate. You walk away with a working engine in your own workspace — and scored work that proves you built it.

WHAT THIS IS NOT — FACE, 2:45–3:05

One thing this is not: a feature tour. Clay University does that for free, and honestly, it's good — we'll even point you at it a couple of times. This course is the part they can't teach you: the judgment, the governance, the capability to run this thing inside a real revenue org.

FIRST STEP — FACE, 3:05–3:30

So here's your first step. Go watch S1 — What Clay Actually Is — right after this. No tools, no exercises yet, just the mental model everything else stands on. And before you do — drop a hello in the community and tell us what you're hoping to build. I read those. See you in S1.
